“Urban Screen” is a documentation of the new architectural language that has evolved to cater to the needs and demands of rapid urbanization. This language has emerged from security and privacy concerns and represents a shift from traditional architectural features like low boundry walls, verandas, roshandaans, and large windows, which once offered continuity between architecture and the environment. This division has created a separation between the residents and the environment that they inhabit.
