When Birds Collide

2017

Thousands of birds die every year due to collision with buildings in metropolises across the globe. The numbers have increased dramatically since increased use of reflective glasses that fool birds into believing that they are continuing their flight into natural habitat.

Karachi's urban planners have shown little respect for the ecosystem we live in. Karachi's indigenous flora and fauna has suffered greatly from our indifference making Karachi and its denizens poorer.

With increase use of reflective glass especially in skyscrapers, Karachi's indigenous and migratory birds are at risk. 'When Birds Collide' is a memorial of times to come.
